For fans attending the Luxembourg vs. Malta match at 18:00 on Tuesday, 31 March 2026, there are a number of ways to travel to the Stade de Luxembourg. The organisers recommend using Luxembourg City's public transport services as an eco-friendly alternative to driving.

Tram service to/from Stade de Luxembourg

To Stade de Luxembourg

  • 16:30–18:30: every 6–8 minutes for trams going to "Stadion" 

From Stade de Luxembourg

  • right after the game: every 6–8 minutes from the "Stadion" tram stop
  • as of 21:10: every 10 minutes from the "Stadion" tram stop 

Tram service to/from P+R Lux-Sud

The Lux-Sud P+R can now be reached by tram via the "Howald, Gare" stop, which is 350 m from the Howald transport hub and car park B. Appropriate signage will be put in place to guide pedestrians.

To Stade de Luxembourg

  • 16:30–18:30: every 6–8 minutes for trams going to "Stadion"

Shuttle service to/from the Kockelscheuer P+R (Line K)

To Stade de Luxembourg

  • 15:45–18:00: every 5 minutes from "Kockelscheuer, Patinoire Quai 0"

From Stade de Luxembourg

  • 19:45–21:00: every 3–5 minutes from "Stade de Luxembourg Quai 0"

  • In the event of extra time, or even a penalty shoot-out, the return journeys will be guaranteed until 22:00.

Alternative access to the car park

  • AVL line 18 buses: from "Kockelscheuer, Patinoire Quai 1" to the Stade de Luxembourg every 10 minutes; from "Stade de Luxembourg Quai 2" to P+R Kockelscheuer every 15 minutes (last bus at 00:06)

P+R Stade de Luxembourg  

Football fans who wish to travel to the stadium by car can park at the new P+R Stade de Luxembourg, which is located opposite the stadium. This P+R has 1,993 parking spaces, including 43 spaces for persons with reduced mobility, 97 women-only spaces, and 56 spaces equipped with Chargy charging points for electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles.

  • Parking is free for the first 24 hours. Thereafter, the rate is €10 per day or part thereof.
  • Motorists can enter and exit the new car park as follows:
  • to enter coming from Leudelange: exclusively via the underpass on the right of Route d'Esch (N4), opposite P+R Stade de Luxembourg;
  • to enter coming from Luxembourg City: entrance ramp directly from Route d'Esch N4.;
  • to exit towards Luxembourg City / Hesperange: via the underpass (Boulevard de Kockelscheuer (N4A), towards Gasperich);
  • to exit towards Leudelange and Bettembourg: exit ramp leading directly onto Route d'Esch.
