Events at Schluechthaus – November calendar
As part of the pre-works programme to modernise and revitalise the Schluechthaus, the City of Luxembourg is hosting a series of events that are open to all throughout the month of November.
7 to 29 November: "30 years - Spike, Stick, Sumo" exhibition
From Friday, 7 November to Sunday, 23 November, the Schluechthaus will be hosting the retrospective exhibition "30 years - Spike, Stick & Sumo", devoted to three emblematic figures who have had a profound impact on Luxembourg's urban art scene. The exhibition invites the public to explore rare archival footage, along with hundreds of images that document three decades of artistic evolution. The opening of the exhibition and the book launch event for "SSS" (Triple S) – a stunning hardcover book available in three colourways, with 544 pages and over 1,000 images tracing the artistic career of this exceptional trio – will take place at 17:00 on Wednesday, 5 November 2025.
8 November: Repair Café at Schluechthaus
From 10:00 to 15:00 on Saturday, 8 November, Repair Café Lëtzebuerg volunteers will be on site to repair damaged or broken items (clothes, small electrical appliances, bikes, toys, small items of furniture, etc.), helping people give their treasured possessions a new lease on life. Visitors may be asked to assist the repairers, who will be more than happy to share their know-how with them. As an educational initiative, "Repair Cafés" seek to encourage visitors to acquire the skills to recondition household items that need minor repairs, so as to reduce waste, new purchases and, consequently, our carbon footprint.

9 November: Creative Sunday
From 10:00 to 14:00 on Sunday, 9 November, artist Charl Vinz will be hosting a linocutting workshop. This activity is open to people aged 15 and over. Participants will learn how to transfer a design, engrave, ink and print their own creations. This workshop – which welcomes people of all skill levels and walks of life – explores linoleum engraving techniques and allows everyone to leave with their own original work of art.

15 November: Schluechthaus Sessions – De Läbbel Jam
De Läbbel, the driving force behind Luxembourg's hip-hop scene, invites one and all to the third edition of the Schluechthaus Sessions on Saturday, 15 November. From 19:30, the legendary Rah Digga and DJ Phixion, all the way from the USA, will share the stage with a number of local artists including DJ PC, Evy, V.I.C., Maka MC, David Fluit, BC One and Headmasta. Together, they will transform the Old Slaughterhouse in Hollerich into a veritable temple of hip-hop.
