Shop windows: Courses in shop-window design and Christmas decoration competition

From 1 to 31 December 2025, the capital's 24 districts will come alive with the magic of Christmas through the "Windows of Wonder" shop-window decoration competition, organised by the City of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg City Business Association (Union commerciale de la Ville de Luxembourg – UCVL).

The competition is being held to encourages retailers to deck out their shop windows and help create the holiday season's magical atmosphere, while showcasing the city centre and its shopping districts.

At the same time, the City will once again be offering free courses in shop-window design to help retailers create compelling, festive storefronts. In these workshops, participants will learn about or hone their skills in presentation, visual storytelling and product arrangement techniques. Participants must register in advance.
