The Apéri'tours are back!
Last year's Apéri'tours meet-ups generated a long list of complaints, ideas and opinions, and once again this year, starting in mid-May 2025, the College of the Mayor and Aldermen and representatives from the City's technical departments will be touring the capital's districts.
During the tours, an initial set of core ideas will be presented for each district. The initiatives were designed with and for residents, with a view to bolstering social cohesion, community spirit and local quality of life. They will serve as the basis for this new round of tours, which will take on a hybrid format combining presentations and small-group sessions. The Mission: Prioriser ! (Mission: Prioritise!) workshops will provide an important opportunity for residents and institutions to forge closer ties, with a view to preparing a draft action plan to rehabilitate the city's public spaces.
These events are also an opportunity to get involved:
- there will be a registration area where residents can express their interest in playing a more active role in future participatory initiatives;
- ongoing and future urban development projects, as well as the suggestions that emerged from the Ideation Lab, will also be presented;
- participants will get a chance to discover the photographs that were taken during the Photowalk, urban sketches, drawings that were produced as part of the Quartier-Maton project, and sound maps – i.e. audio recordings in which residents introduce their districts to the public.
Open to the needs of local residents and stakeholders, the City wants to give itself the means to shape future development and redevelopment projects based on the real needs and ideas of all those who spend time there on a daily basis, in order to ensure better quality of life for all.
Apéri’tours documentation and online survey
Documentation from last year's Apéri'tours and the results of the online survey will be published on this page after each Apéri'tour in the district in question.
