The Kulturpass enables people experiencing economic hardship to gain access to culture. It entitles holders to free admission to the city's municipal museums, and to purchase entry tickets to events organised by the City's cultural partners at €1.50 (per event and per person).

The architect consortium comprising lead firm 2001, together with CIVIC and Mersch Ingénieurs-Paysagistes was announced the winner of the European architectural design competition launched by the City to transform and repurpose the Schluechthaus.
