Schedule changes on AVL line 26 as of 15 December 2025

As of Monday, 15 december 2025, there will be some changes to the schedule of AVL line 26. This is necessary to ensure our public transport services are efficient and respond to users needs.

Following an assessment of passenger numbers on line 26, the City has noted a significant rise in ridership, particularly at peak times. To ensure a smoother, more comfortable service, the frequency of this line will be increased and, at peak times, intervals will be reduced from 20 to 15 minutes as of 15 December 2025. 

Service will be more closely spaced during peak periods to better meet the needs of passengers heading for both Kirchberg and Steinsel. The aim of this change is to ensure a more balanced service and improve daily travel conditions.
