On Friday, 10 July, and Saturday, 11 July 2026, Luxembourg City will come alive with festivities for Pride 2026. Organised in collaboration with partner associations committed to LGBTIQ+ rights, this festive and inclusive event champions the values of diversity, equality, respect and togetherness.

Through a programme packed with entertainment, concerts, dialogue and opportunities for raising awareness, Pride offers Luxembourg City residents and visitors alike the chance to celebrate diversity in a spirit of openness and conviviality.

Changes to the Stater Maart

Owing to the setup for Pride in Place Guillaume II, on Saturday, 11 July 2026, the Stater Maart will close at 13:00 instead of 14:00.

Changes to traffic flow and public transport services

On Saturday, 11 July 2026, the Equality March will step off at 13:30 and march down Avenue de la Liberté, Pont Adolphe, Boulevard F. D. Roosevelt, Rue Notre-Dame and Rue du Fossé, arriving at Place Guillaume II at 14:30.

Drivers must obey the following changes to traffic flow:

  • Avenue de la Liberté will be closed to traffic;
  • from 12:30 to 14:30 between Place de la Gare and Rue Heine;
  • from 13:30 to 14:30 between Rue Heine and Boulevard de la Pétrusse;
  • Pont Adolphe and Boulevard de la Pétrusse will be closed to traffic from 13:30 to 14:30 between Rue C. M. Spoo and Rue Dicks;
  • Boulevard Royal, between Avenue Émile Reuter and Boulevard F. D. Roosevelt, and Avenue Marie-Thérèse, between Boulevard Prince Henri and Boulevard Royal, will be closed to traffic from 13:30 to 14:30, except for buses;
  • Boulevard F. D. Roosevelt, between Boulevard Royal and Rue de la Congrégation, and also Rue Notre-Dame and Rue du Fossé, will be closed to traffic from 13:30 to 14:30;
  • There will be no parking on Rue Notre-Dame from 12:00 to 14:30.

Note that if the parade passes earlier than expected, these streets may be reopened to traffic once it is safe.

Changes to public transport services

The following changes will be made to public transport on Saturday, 11 July 2026:

Changes that apply throughout the day:

  • AVL line 19 buses to Limpertsberg/Strassen will be diverted via the René Konen tunnel. Buses will not call at "Roosevelt Quai 1", "Cathédrale", "Gruef" or "Kasinosgaass".

Temporary measures will be implemented while Boulevard F. D. Roosevelt is closed between Place de Bruxelles and Rue de la Congrégation (between around 13:30 and 14:30):

  • AVL buses travelling towards the city centre will be rerouted through the René Konen tunnel, while buses travelling towards the Gare district will be rerouted via Route d'Esch.
  • AVL lines 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 13, 14, 18 and 33 travelling towards the city centre will not call at the "F. D. Roosevelt Quai 1" stop.
  • AVL lines 4, 10 and 14/22 travelling towards Luxembourg Central Station will not call at "F. D. Roosevelt Quai 2", "Al Avenue Quai 2" or "Gare Centrale Quai 2". The stop "Gare Centrale Quai 2" will be replaced by "Gare Centrale Quai 105" in front of the Post Office building.
  • AVL lines 13 and 18 travelling towards Luxembourg Central Station will not call at "F. D. Roosevelt Quai 2", "Al Avenue Quai 2" or "Gare Centrale Quai 2". The "Gare Centrale Quai 2" stop will be replaced by a temporary stop, "Wenceslas 1er Quai 2", on Rue Wenceslas 1er.
  • AVL lines 2, 3, 5, 9 and 33 travelling towards Luxembourg Central Station will not call at "F. D. Roosevelt Quai 2". However, they will call at "Gare Centrale Quai 1".
  • AVL line 19 travelling towards Luxembourg Central Station will not call at "Ste Zithe", "Michel Rodange", "Etats-Unis" or "Adolphe Fischer".

P+R and covered car parks in Luxembourg City, dynamic parking guidance system

The City recommends that motorists park in the following P+R facilities, which are served by buses or trams approximately every 5 to 10 minutes:

  • P+R Bouillon to Luxembourg Central Station and the city centre (AVL lines 10, 17 and 22)
  • P+R Lux-Sud A+B to Luxembourg Central Station (AVL lines 5 and 29 and the tram line) and the city centre (AVL line 5 and the tram line)
  • P+R Kockelscheuer Patinoire (AVL line 18)
  • P+R Stade de Luxembourg (AVL line 18 and the tram line) to Luxembourg Central Station and the city centre

The covered car parks in the city centre and Gare district will remain open, except for the Knuedler car park, which drivers may not enter or exit between approximately 13:45 and 14:45 (this restriction also applies to holders of a season parking pass).
