On Thursday, 16 April 2026, the City of Luxembourg's College of the Mayor and Aldermen officially opened the new Pop-up Hub, which is located on the site of the former LUGA Science Hub in Rue St. Ulric, at the entrance to the Pétrusse Valley park. Various occupants will bring the space alive with courses, workshops, and a range of events between now and the end of September:

"Pop-up Yoga Space"

Throughout the week, Maura Pianaro (Maura Explorer Yoga) will be running yoga classes for all levels, in addition to various events: Yoga for a Happy Back, Vinsaya Yoga on Beat, Slow Flow, Functional Yoga for Sports Enthusiasts, Rise & Shine Yoga, and Inside Flow.

"Art Empowers"

Throughout the summer, the Luxembourg-based designer Khaled Ahmed will be running several creative workshops designed to accommodate all ages. Participants can choose from a range of activities, including candle-making, crafting multi-coloured glass keyrings, pottery and clay workshops, painting, mosaics… and much more.

The Pop-up Hub will also be hosting the Lëtzebuerg City Bibliothèque's "D'Stad liest" open-air library. This year, "D'Stad liest" will run from 17 July to 1 August 2026. The convivial, reader-friendly open-air library – which will also feature a varied cultural programme – is ideally suited for the setting in Place St. Ulric, making the Pop-up Hub even more attractive.
