Traffic changes
During the Stater Braderie, Rue Notre-Dame will be closed to traffic as of Rue de l'Ancien Athénée. Avenue de la Liberté will be closed to motorised and bicycle traffic in the direction of Luxembourg Central Station on the section between Rue Heine and Rue de Hollerich (detour via either Avenue Marie-Thérèse/Route d'Esch or Boulevard de la Pétrusse).
Car parks and P+R
Place de l'Europe and Fort Wedell
Parking at the Place de l'Europe (Kirchberg) and Fort Wedell car parks (Gare) will be free on Monday, 1 September 2025.
Fort Neipperg
Parking at the Fort Neipperg car park (Gare district) will be free for 4 hours on Saturday, 30 August 2025. On Sunday, 31 August and Monday, 1 September 2025, parking will be free for 2 hours.
Martyrs
Parking at the Martyrs car park will be free for 2 hours on Saturday, 30 August, Sunday, 31 August and Monday, 1 September 2025.
P+R
To make getting around as easy as possible, visitors are advised to use public transport and the park-and-ride (P+R) facilities at the Bouillon, Kockelscheuer, Stade de Luxembourg and Luxembourg-Sud A + B car parks. These are regularly served by the city's tram and bus services and provide quick and easy access to the city centre and the Gare district.
P+R Bouillon
- Line 10: every 15–20 minutes to the Gare and Ville Haute districts
- Line 17: every 10 minutes to the Ville Haute district
- Line 22: every 10 minutes to the Gare and Ville Haute districts
P+R Howald, Lux-Sud A + B
- Tram line T1: every 8 minutes
- Line 5: every 15-20 minutes to the Gare and Ville Haute districts via Bonnevoie
- Line 29: every 10–15 minutes to the Gare district
P+R Kockelscheuer
- Line 18: every 10 minutes to the Gare and Ville Haute districts
P+R Stade de Luxembourg
- Tram line T1: every 8 minutes
- Line 5: every 15-20 minutes to the Gare and Ville Haute districts via Bonnevoie
- Line 18: every 10 minutes to the Gare and Ville Haute districts
- Line 20: every 15–20 minutes to the Gare district
Stade car park (Route d'Arlon)
The Stade car park on Route d'Arlon, which charges by the hour, is served by:
- Lines 11 and 16: at least every 10 minutes to the Ville Haute district
- Line 22: every 10 minutes to the Gare and Ville Haute districts
