Racines et Rêves – Atelier de Spoken Word

Where do you truly come from, when your answer is not an address?
What grounds you, and what makes you dream?

In this Spoken Word workshop – a poetic form between performance, literature, and orality – language becomes a tool of memory, freedom, and belonging. With East Belgian spoken-word artist Jessy James LaFleur, founder of the Europe-wide Spoken Word Akademie, participants discover how words can give voice to the unspoken, articulate what connects them to the world, and help them grow through performance.

Spoken Word gives each person a unique voice: it’s not only about writing, but also about feeling, resisting, and transforming personal experiences into artistic and collective expression.

The workshop is a moment of shared creativity, where hidden voices, personal stories, and fragments of self can take shape. A space where everyone can (re)plant their roots and let their dreams blossom.
