Magdalena Kožená: Baroque Arias

«Captivating personality. Mesmerising voice.» That’s what critics said about Magdalena Kožená’s baroque recordings with conductor Andrea Marcon. And now the two of them are back together for an evening of arias spanning Monteverdi to Händel. Kožená is one of the finest mezzo-sopranos of her generation, a Gramophone Artist of the Year with a voice equally at home in whispered intimacy and full-throated drama. With La Cetra Barockorchester Basel behind her, expect plenty of both, as well as colour and fireworks!
