Cambias Mi Mundo
Born to an American father and a Mexican mother, Lila Downs conveys this dual identity in her music, and more besides: singing in several languages, including those of the Mixtec minority to which her mother’s family belongs, the socially conscious diva blends genres with ease and displays a radiant charisma on stage.
