On a scavenger hunt through the city, children aged 6 and above, accompanied by adults, discover the legend of the mermaid Melusina and the founding of the city of Luxembourg. By solving puzzles, they become familiar with some of the city's important monuments and buildings and its history in a playful way. At the end, a gift awaits them as a reward.
Tip: Continue the adventure on the pirate ship located in the playground of the municipal park!
A special St Nicholas edition
On the occasion of Saint Nicholas' Day, called “Kleesechersdag” in Luxembourg, undoubtedly the most important children's day, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office has put together a special programme for children aged 6 and over (and their parents). On 6 December, they can take part in a "City Promenade for kids", a guided tour in the form of a treasure hunt combining the discovery of the capital with the legend of Melusina.
