LE MUR Luxembourg

To kick off the 2026 season of LE MUR Luxembourg, I Love Graffiti ASBL and the City are welcoming Spanish artist Galleta Maria to transform the façade of the Lëtzebuerg City Museum with an original artwork.

Galleta Maria, born María Martínez Nicolás, is a Spanish artist and illustrator based in Valencia. She holds a degree in fine arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and has been active in graffiti and muralism for more than seventeen years. She also works in illustration, concept art, and comics.

Her work centers on corporeality, spatial relationships, and dialogue with places and communities. Each piece is closely tied to its environment, giving her work both a nuanced and context-specific dimension.

Galleta Maria has taken part in numerous festivals, including Hola Utopía, Més Que Murs, Muro Crítico and Dones de Ciència, and has collaborated with various cultural institutions and organisations. She produces both large-scale murals and smaller works, all while maintaining a distinctive and recognisable visual identity.
