Class Description
This African dance class invites parents and children to connect through movement, rhythm, and joy.
.Inspired by traditional African dances, it transforms everyday gestures into expressive, meaningful choreography, creating a space for family bonding and creativity.
In African culture, dance is much more than just movement, it is a true language.
It allows people to express emotions, affirm their identity, and build connections.
Dancing barefoot, grounded to the earth, parents and children immerse themselves in the energy of the djembe and African percussion.
The class focuses on full-body movement, exploring energy, balance, and rhythm through dynamic steps, jumps, and flowing sequences.
.Guided by Tebby’s joyful and nurturing approach, each family will learn techniques, rhythmic patterns, and develop their own unique form of expression.
More than just a dance class, this weekly moment is a meaningful pause in your routine, a time to reconnect with yourself, your child, and the music.
Thanks to the collective energy of the group, you’ll leave each session with a feeling of joy and relaxation.
