Traditional African dances transform everyday gestures into expressive choreography, rich in meaning and emotion. These dances are a true ancestral body language that allows everyone to express their feelings, assert their identity and forge strong bonds between parents and children. Dancing barefoot, firmly grounded, parents and children immerse themselves in the vibrant energy of the djembe and African percussion. The class focuses on whole-body movement, exploring balance, coordination, energy and rhythm through dynamic steps, jumps, fluid movements and sequences adapted to the abilities and ages of the children. This holistic approach to movement helps to strengthen fine and gross motor skills, while developing confidence.

Led by Tebby, a passionate expert and caring teacher, this family African dance class combines traditional techniques with freedom of expression. Each family learns a variety of rhythmic sequences and discovers its own way of expressing itself in a joyful, playful and inclusive atmosphere.
