LE MUR Luxembourg is celebrating its 19^th iteration with an original piece by German graffiti artist WON ABC, a well-known figure on the international graffiti scene.

Influenced by religions and mythologies from around the world

The artist's highly colourful pieces reflect religious and mythological influences from around the world: the scenes he portrays explore themes such as the triumph of nature over technology and the ascendancy of imagination over the functional. After incurring a heavy fine, the artist decided to join the "legal" street art scene and began producing works on request. Over the course of his career, WON ABC has created murals in Guatemala, Mexico, the United States, Cuba, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, and North Africa, and in virtually every country in Europe. In addition to publishing extensively in graffiti and hip-hop magazines, and countless collective and solo exhibitions, WON ABC has produced graffiti pieces for several film and television productions, including the TV crime drama series "Tatort".

For the opening night, the music will be mixed by DJ Heincha (Riga Disco Blitz), who will have the audience on its feet with his passion for disco, boogie and house sounds from every corner of the world.
