Ceremony for the City's top runners in the ING Night Marathon Luxembourg 2025
The College of the Mayor and Aldermen held a ceremony for the top runners among City of Luxembourg staff who took part in the 18th ING Night Marathon Luxembourg. At the ceremony, prizes were awarded to the women and men who completed the marathon, as well as to the fastest male and female runners in the half-marathon and team-run races.
This year, 121 members of the City's staff took part in the race. 13 runners finished the full marathon (3 woman and 10 men), 88 runners finished the half-marathon (26 women and 62 men), 5 groups took part in the team run (10 women and 10 men, with mixed teams).
As in previous years, the City employees who ran the race also raised money for charity: a collective donation of €1,350 was made to the " I run for MSF Surgery " project of Doctors Without Borders Luxembourg. In addition, the sum of €480, collected through the inclusive Roll & Run race, was donated to Special Olympics Luxembourg.
