Ceremony for the City's top runners in the ING Night Marathon Luxembourg 2026
On Tuesday, 30 June 2026, the College of the Mayor and Aldermen held a ceremony for the top runners among City of Luxembourg staff who took part in the 19th ING Night Marathon Luxembourg. At the ceremony, prizes were awarded to the women and men who completed the marathon, as well as to the fastest male and female runners in the half-marathon.
This year, 146 members of the City's staff crossed the finish line. 11 runners completed the full marathon (2 women and 9 men) and 135 runners finished the half-marathon (40 women and 95 men).
As in previous years, the City employees who ran the race also raised money for charity: a collective donation of €1,780 was made to the "AutiSport" project of Fondation Autisme Luxembourg. In addition, the sum of €895 collected as part of the inclusive Roll & Run race was donated to Les Tandems de la Vue ASBL.
