Publicity poster design competition for the Schueberfouer
In March 2026, the City launched its fifth poster design competition for the Schueberfouer, the large funfair that will be held from 21 August to 9 September 2026 on Champ du Glacis.
The competition was open to all residents of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and was conducted anonymously. Participants could use a variety of techniques, including photography, painting, and graphic design.
A total of 84 projects were received by the closing date of 13 April 2026. The jury, composed of the College of Aldermen, has selected three winning entries. The jury decided to award each of the three winners a €2,000 prize and to display their posters in the following order:
- 2026 Schueberfouer: Amarylis Hibon
- 2027 Schueberfouer: Lui Keyou
- 2028 Schueberfouer: Yannick Schumacher
The three winning posters will be used as the main visual in all publicity for the Schueberfouer and will be reproduced on various media by a communications agency.
