The JP Morgan City Jogging fun run will take place on Sunday, 6 July 2025. It is organised by the Luxembourg Athletics Federation with the support of the City of Luxembourg. To make way for the runners, there will be a number of changes to traffic and public transport for the duration of the race.

The City will take all necessary precautions to minimise restrictions for traffic and public transport.

Traffic changes

The JP Morgan City Jogging route will be closed to traffic as of 8:00. Residents may travel to and from their homes in the same direction as the runners.

The route will take runners down the following roads:

Rue Léon Hengen, Rue Richard Coudenhove-Kalgeri, Avenue John F. Kennedy, Rue des Coquelicots, Rue des Muguets, Rue Jules Wilhelm, Rue du Fort Olisy, Rue Sosthène Weis, Rue Saint Ulric, Rue St Quirin, Vallée de la Pétrusse, Rue de la Semois, Boulevard F.D. Roosevelt, Rue Philippe II, city centre, Rue des Capucins, Parc Pescatore, Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, Avenue John F. Kennedy, Trois Glands, Place de l'Europe, Avenue John F. Kennedy (bicycle lane and crossing near Rue Erasme).

These streets will be gradually reopened to traffic as of 12:30. All traffic restrictions will be lifted at 14:00.

Municipal buses

The following changes will apply on Sunday, 6 July 2025 between 8:00 and 13:30:

  • AVL line 12: in the direction of Weimershof, the stops "Philharmonie / MUDAM Quai 1" and "Niedergrünewald Quai 1" on Rue du Fort Niedergrünewald will not be served. Neither will "Léon Hengen Quai 1" on Rue Alcide De Gasperi. Passengers are advised to use the temporary stop near the Philharmonie on Avenue John F. Kennedy.
