Future "Tramsschapp" at Cloche d'Or

Construction of the future tram depot and maintenance centre officially got under way on Monday, 6 July 2026 at Cloche d'Or, near the Stade de Luxembourg Park & Ride facility and the Stadion terminus.

This strategic facility will provide storage, maintenance and operational deployment for the 41 tramsets required to support the future expansion of the urban and regional tram network.

Covering an area of approximately eight hectares, the future tram depot will include maintenance workshops, a vehicle storage building and administrative offices.

Preparatory works are already under way, while construction of the main structure is expected to begin in early 2027. The facility is scheduled to enter service in 2030.
