As part of its project to raise awareness for the protection of bees and preservation of biodiversity, the City has created a bee walking trail that takes visitors on a tour of the capital. Guided tours are organised from May to September in several languages, but visitors can also explore the trail on their own.
Educational Bee Walking Trail
With 13 information points along the route, children and adults are introduced to the world of bees on this 2.5 km walking trail. The specially designed trail seeks to educate visitors in a fun way about bees, bumblebees, hornets and wasps, which play a crucial role in maintaining a healthy and balanced environment. The trail includes a house for insects and wild bees, where walkers can observe the comings and goings of these "diligent workers".
Guided tours
Together with its partners, the City of Luxembourg offers guided tours of the bee trail, where you can learn all about these fascinating creatures and their role in our ecosystem. These guided tours last 2.5 hours.
