Free bike repair and maintenance class
The City, in partnership with ProVelo and the Lycée Technique du Centre, is offering a free bike repair and maintenance workshop on Tuesday, 22 September 2026. Whether you're new to cycling or an experienced rider, this hands-on workshop will give you the know-how to keep your bike in good shape and tackle common repairs yourself.
Learn to maintain your bike yourself
During the workshop, participants will learn the basics of regular bike maintenance and how to carry out simple repairs to keep their bike running smoothly and safely.
Participants are welcome to bring their own bike and put the tips and techniques covered in the workshop into practice straight away.
This initiative is all about helping people feel more confident and safe on their bikes, while highlighting the many benefits of cycling as a healthy and environmentally friendly way to get around.
