The Books and Beats Kickoff is a full-day creative showcase inviting visitors to explore the intersection of storytelling, sound, and collaborative artistic practice.


Throughout the day, guests can join free workshops, discover new tools for expression, and experience the unique blend of literature and electronic music that defines Books and Beats.

Morning session



The Sound of a Story, The Story of a Sound – Workshop

This hands-on workshop invites participants to explore how stories and sounds shape one another by experimenting with short original ideas, text fragments, musical sketches, or pieces blending stories and sound, working individually or in small groups.

Beats Jam Session

An open, ongoing jam space where visitors can explore synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers, and sound-design tools. Whether you want to play, listen, or simply observe how electronic music comes alive, this session offers a relaxed, collaborative environment.



Short Stories & Sound Stations

14:00-18:00, Studio 3

Free entry (walk-in)


A curated reading-and-listening experience. Visitors can sit, read selected short stories, and enjoy playlists crafted to match each story’s emotional tone, atmosphere, and pacing.



Writing Club

A series of short, playful creative-writing exercises designed to spark imagination, using prompts and guidelines to help ideas flow freely.
