Luxembourg City Film Festival

The Luxembourg City Film Festival was held for the first time in 2007 as part of the city's European Capital of Culture programme, but has since become an annual fixture in late February and early March.

The Luxembourg City Film Festival (LCFF) offers the perfect opportunity to experience the wide world of cinema in all its forms. Attracting over 30,500 visitors in 2018, it showcases short and feature-length films and documentaries, and hosts a range of other fun events.

Through the quality of its programming – whether in official competition, documentaries, films made in/with Luxembourg, youth and children's programming, official selections not in competition – the Luxembourg City Film Festival (LCFF) allows film lovers of all stripes to discover new films from all around the world that have been acclaimed at major festivals but not yet released in cinemas. In addition to films, the LCFF organises extensive off-screen events including an exhibition and virtual reality pavilion.
