The City of Luxembourg and the Cinémathèque present

"Kino um Glacis" – Drive-in and walk-in cinema

For a summer like no other, the City of Luxembourg and the Cinémathèque are bringing back the legendary drive-in cinema at Champ du Glacis. This is a wonderfully vintage way of going to the cinema, which started in the United States back in the 1930s, reaching peak popularity in the 1950s and 1960s.

For the very first time, "Kino um Glacis" will allow you to watch films from the comfort of your car, in the very heart of the city.

A special lounge area will be created, with seating for groups of four people who arrive on foot, and the Glacis car park will become a vast open-air cinema.
