ShekBand

ShekBand is a Ukrainian family trio, bringing together two brothers and their sister that combines modern jazz with Ukrainian folk influences, creating music that is both thoughtful and energetic. Performing together since 2015, the siblings have won more than 50 international jazz awards and have appeared on stages across Europe, helping bring Ukrainian jazz to a wider audience.
Recent highlights include performances at Tremplin Jazz d’Avignon and Jazz in the Park Cluj-Napoca alongside artists such as Ibrahim Maalouf, Robinson Khoury Daoud, and Mammal Hands. They have also opened major Ukrainian jazz festivals and sold-out renowned venues, including 32JazzClub.
In 2026, ShekBand received the Ukrainian Jazz Prize from the Ukrainian Institute and the Europe Jazz Network. The trio continues to promote jazz as a music of freedom while showcasing contemporary Ukrainian culture to international audiences.
