Kanner in the City

The Creative Learning Centre (Centre d'animation pédagogique et de loisirs – CAPEL) of the City of Luxembourg's Service Foyers scolaires (Childcare Department) is hosting "Kanner in the City" on Friday, 31 July and Saturday, 1 August 2026. This traditional games festival is part of "Aktioun Bambësch", a leisure activities programme for children.

This year, the festival's theme is "Eng Rees duerch d’Kannerbicher" (A journey through the world of children's book). In the heart of the city, children aged 4 to 9 and their families can enjoy water games, creative workshops inspired by the worlds of children's books, and fun challenges.
