On Saturday, 11 October 2025, the City is holding an open day from 14:00 to 17:00 at the Grund community garden, where members of the public can meet member gardeners and the City staff who look after the project. During the open day, gardening enthusiasts will be introduced to the many different facets of this initiative, from its ecologically sound cultivation methods to the social aspect of the garden, since community gardens are as much about cultivating friendships as they are about growing fruit and vegetables.
