Konviktsgaart Open Days

On Friday, 17 and Saturday, 18 October 2025, the City of Luxembourg and the Résidence Grande-Duchesse Joséphine-Charlotte (aka the 'Konviktsgaart') will be hosting another Konviktsgaart Open Days event. Over the two days, visitors will get a chance to tour the facilities, meet its staff, and take part in a fun activity with its residents.
Programme
The 'Konviktsgaart' will be open from 8:30, and visitors will be welcomed with coffee and croissants. Guided tours of the accommodation units will be conducted in Luxembourgish (from 9:00 to 15:30) and French (from 9:30 to 13:30). A lunch buffet will also be provided at a cost of €19,50 (excluding drinks). Enjoy Oberweis pastries (in the presence of Louis Oberweis), a sparkling Crémant tasting and a creative mocktail workshop. Visitors can also look forward to information stands.
A virtual tour of the home will also be available on konviktsgaart.vdl.lu for people who are unable to attend in person.
