Kammerata Luxembourg is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a concert full of fantasy and romanticism. The programme opens with the world premiere of Olivier Dartevelle's
Un certain Docteur Ox…,. a musical fantasy based on Jules Verne, with the composer himself in the role of narrator. The second part features George Onslow's
Nonet op. 77,. a rare Romantic work for nine instruments, in which woodwinds and strings blend together to create a rich sound texture. This exceptional programme, presented as part of the Fräiraim series at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, combines literary narration and chamber music, and is one of the highlights of this anniversary season.
