City Open Air Cinema
Get ready for an exciting new season of open-air cinema! The City of Luxembourg Cinémathèque is pleased to announce a new edition of City Open Air Cinema. This year, audiences can look forward to even more suspense, laughter and unforgettable evenings at Place Guillaume II and, for the first time, at Place Léon XIII in Bonnevoie.
With a big screen, even more seating, and a vibrant atmosphere, the iconic "Knuedler" square will be transformed into a paradise for fans of outdoor cinema, where they can immerse themselves in the wonders of the big screen, engulfed in the warmth of a summer breeze. Films screened at Place Guillaume II between 23 and 28 July 2026 will start at 21:30, around sunset.
New this year: the Cinémathèque will also be visiting Bonnevoie. The City Open Air Cinema will take over the charming Place Léon XIII for three evenings from 6 to 8 August 2026, with screenings starting around 21:15 at sunset.
