Upgrade of the playground in Merl Park

On Tuesday, 26 August 2025, the City unveiled the final plan for the playground in Merl Park. Works will begin on Monday, 15 September 2025. Designed by the firm Schwarze und Partner Landschaftsarchitekten and built by SIK-Holzgestaltungs GmbH and Sopinor Constructions, the playground is intended to be inclusive, sustainable, innovative and visually appealing. It will provide children with an opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of fun and educational experiences.
