Accessibility for people with reduced mobility
Every year, the City of Luxembourg has accessibility for people with reduced mobility tested at the Mäertchen establishments by the association Info-handicap. This assessment is used to provide information to people with reduced mobility, as well as to award the EureWelcome label for temporary tourism and cultural sites, which is granted by the Ministry of the Economy (Ministère de l'Économie).
If you are dropping off someone with reduced mobility, access to the cathedral and market is easier if you let them out on Rue Notre-Dame (near the cathedral). Additional reduced mobility parking spaces are available on Rue Notre-Dame (opposite the cathedral).
"Staater Maart" to be held at Place de la Constitution from 7 to 28 May 2025
During the Octave, the Stater Maart (which is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays) will take place at Place de la Constitution: 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, 24 and 28 May 2025 (8:00 to 14:00).
Place de la Constitution will also host the "Look 360 Panorama", a brand-new mobile tower offering impressive 71-meter-high panoramic views of the capital, from Saturday, 10 May to Sunday 15 June 2025.
