Our oceans are under threat, and the time to act is now. That's why we're bringing Billie the giant Octopus (and our Ocean Ambassador) to the heart of Luxembourg City for a day dedicated to ocean protection. We hope to see many of you there!

The oceans are at the heart of life on Earth. They cover more than 70% of our planet, produce a large share of the oxygen we breathe, and are home to an extraordinary diversity of life. Yet they face growing threats, including overfishing, plastic pollution, climate change, and the industrial exploitation of the deep sea.

These challenges may seem far away, but they affect us directly, including here in Luxembourg. Even without a coastline, Luxembourg depends on healthy oceans. Their protection is therefore a responsibility we all share.

Come and meet Greenpeace Luxembourg to learn why oceans are essential to our future and how each of us can help protect them. Together, let's call on the government to support the creation of large, fully protected marine sanctuaries on the high seas, because Billie and its ocean friends can't wait 💙
