From 17 to 29 March 2026, Médecins Sans Frontières is presenting ‘La Grande Expo’, an immersive experience that introduces the public to the reality of humanitarian interventions in crisis zones. Thanks to real field equipment (medical tents, treatment stations, vaccination equipment, etc.) and interactions with experienced MSF staff, young people are immersed in a medical emergency environment.
The exhibition is organised into themed tents addressing issues such as malnutrition, access to water, epidemics, vaccination, refugees and access to medicines. Each space provides an understanding of the human, health and ethical issues involved in humanitarian action. Designed as a tool for global citizenship education, the exhibition raises students' awareness of inequalities, human rights, international solidarity and the development of critical thinking.
Guided tours lasting 1½ hours and interactive workshops will be offered to groups, including logistical simulations and ethical debates. Young people will also be able to take part in an immersive ‘Stop Ebola’ escape room, where they will have to manage an epidemic emergency as a team.
.‘La Grande Expo’ is an educational, civic-minded and inspiring experience that invites young people to reflect on today's world and their role as citizens of solidarity.
