From Ground Zero by Palestinian director Rashid Masharawi, born in 1962 in a refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, is a mosaic of 22 short films shot between January and June 2024 in the Palestinian enclave. The ongoing genocidal war is the common thread running through the stories, each offering a unique insight into life in Gaza under bombardment. From Ground Zero. seeks to give voice to the artists and filmmakers from Gaza who have been silenced by the war, showcasing the vulnerability and resilience of a dignified and vibrant people in the face of daily horrors.

The film is divided into two parts, with a break in between to give the audience a moment to breathe.
