Inaugural City of Luxembourg People's Choice Award goes to Tine Krumhorn
The City of Luxembourg People's Choice Award – a new prize created by the City and the Cercle Artistique de Luxembourg (CAL) – was presented for the very first time at this year's Salon du CAL.
Visitors attending the Salon du CAL – which was held from 1 to 16 November 2025 at the Tramsschapp in Limpertsberg – had a chance to vote for their favourite artist from among the 44 artists whose work was on display. For the inaugural People's Choice Award, more than 1,300 visitors took part in the vote.
Having obtained the most votes, Tine Krumhorn was presented with the first People's Choice Award by Luxembourg City Mayor Lydie Polfer at a ceremony held at Luxembourg City Hall on Monday, 24 November 2025.
The People's Choice Award, which will now be presented every year at the Salon du CAL, consists of a €5,000 prize that is funded by the City of Luxembourg.
