From Renoir to Monet. Impressionism from the Rau Collection

This autumn, the Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart presents masterpieces from the Rau Collection, featuring works by Monet, Renoir, Cassatt and many more. The Rau Collection – assembled over four decades by philanthropist Dr. Gustav Rau, entrusted to UNICEF and currently housed at the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck – is one of Europe’s most significant private art collections. Complemented by gems from our own collection, the exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience the very best of Impressionism in Luxembourg.Opening on 8 October 2026 at 6 pm.
