Jeu d'ombre

Workshop for child-adult groups in the framework of the group exhibition Theatre of Cruelty.

Using paper, scissors, glue, and sticks, the children and their parents create a joyful shadow theatre. They invent stories with shapes, shadows, and sounds, which they then bring to life with an overhead projector. Inspired by the world of Antonin Artaud, they discover different emotions and immerse themselves in fantastical worlds, perhaps even without speaking a single word.
