On Thursday, 13 November 2025, the College of the Mayor and Aldermen together with representatives of UNICEF Luxembourg officially unveiled an exhibition dedicated to children's rights in Place de Strasbourg. The exhibition, produced by UNICEF Luxembourg for World Children's Day, presents in an easily understandable way the rights of children that UNICEF seeks to protect all across the world.

The 17-panel exhibit aims to raise awareness among children and adults of their rights, and highlights the articles from the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted by the UN at its General Assembly on 20 November 1989, which include the right to inclusion, to access to education, to play and recreational activities, and to protection against all forms of violence or neglect. Founded in 1946 to help children in the post-war period, today UNICEF works in 190 countries and territories all over the globe to save children, defend their rights and help them fulfil their potential.

The exhibition will be on display at Place de Strasbourg until April 2026. Admission is free.
