The next "DKV – Urban Trail" race is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 18 April and Sunday, 19 April 2026, and will feature an entirely urban route with the start and finish lines on the Plateau du Saint-Esprit. To accommodate the event, the City wishes to advise residents and road users that temporary changes to traffic flows will be enforced in the city centre.

Road closures and traffic changes

No changes to traffic flows in connection with the "DKV – Urban Trail" race are scheduled for Saturday, 18 April 2026.

The following streets in the Pétrusse valley and in Pfaffenthal will be partially closed from 9:00 to approximately 20:00 on Sunday, 19 April: Bisserwee, Montée de Clausen, Montée du Grund, Rue Large, Rue Munster, Rue de la Tour Jacob, Rue du Fort Olisy, Rue de Prague, Desserte Schuman, Rue du Fort Thungen, Boulevard Thorn, Rue de Trèves, Rue Saint Ulric, Boulevard Ulveling, Rue Sosthène Weis, Rue Jules Wilhelm and adjoining streets.

The sections of road on the race route will be reserved for runners only, and will be reopened to traffic after the last runner has passed.

The DKV – Urban Trail route will also cross the following main thoroughfares, which will remain open to traffic: Allée Mansfeld, Rue St Mathieu, Val de Hamm, Rue Auguste Charles and Boulevard Patton<.
