OPENSCREEN is a platform for aspiring filmmakers to experiment and express themselves. With no set theme, style or genre for submitted short films, expect the unexpected!
Known for its openness to all creators and unconventional spaces for screenings, Openscreen Classic goes into the cinema on 12 March. Every change is an opportunity and this is an invitation for you to take it. The classic open screening within the programme of Luxembourg City Film Festival 2026 will be held at Utopia.
So far, we have shown numerous stories on topics that really resonate with Openscreen’s philosophy, namely on inclusion, migration, social justice, languages and intercultural dialogue but among our shorts there have been music videos, poetic video impressions or imaginary, funny and sometimes scary stories. The list goes on. Add your message to it.
