Synopsis
Maria Aliki \, a failed actress in search of big roles\, after a fatal (or almost) acc ident\, gets thrust into a reality where she is called to play all the pos sible parts that life could have given her if she had made different choic es.
Has she passed out\, died or is she dreaming? Trying to understa nd what is happening to her and find her way out to her real life\, Maria Aliki finds herself trying to fit into roles that others seem to have desi gned for her.

A few words about the director
Angelos Frantzis was b orn in 1970 in Athens and studied film directing at INSAS in Brussels. He has made several short films and 7 feature films (Polaroid\, A Dog's Dream \, In the Woods\, Symptom\, Still River\, My Name is Eftichia\, Murphy’s law). His films have been awarded and screened at many international fest ivals (Rotterdam\, Tallinn\, Hong-Kong\, Torino\, Wroclaw\, Sitges\, Munic h\, Sao Paolo\, Istanbul etc.) and he has received the director and best f ilm awards at the Greek Film Academy Awards (Iris) for his films \"Still R iver\" and \"My Name is Eftichia\" respectively. He spent several years as a film critic\, and his theoretical writings have been published in sever al publications and books. In recent years he has also been involved in mi xed media projects (installations\, performances\, etc.). His mixed techni que works have been presented\, among others\, at the Venice Biennale.
