With Forget Me not Hop\, we explore the theme of memory\, an d honor the relationships we have woven over time. Our lives are woven int o relationships: deep relationships that have changed us and continue to c hange us\, relationships that affirm us\, heal us\, disturb us\, and chall enge us. Remembering\, tracing the timeline of events\, allows us to bette r understand the present\, and provides glimpses of the future.
Forg et Me not Hop is a dance theater project in which objects\, voices\, costu mes\, and choreography create a timeless\, dreamlike place that is \;& nbsp\;at the same time extremely present. The dancing bodies become a livi ng metaphor for past circumstance\, word\, and action. Forget Me not Hop c elebrates the mutual trust that arises from the memory of shared challenge s and journeys\, a trust that allows for the further construction of a com mon project.
