On Saturday, 28 June 2025, the City of Luxembourg will be hosting a day of choral singing at the Old Slaughterhouse in Hollerich, in collaboration with the European institute of choir singing – INECC Luxembourg. This event offers a unique opportunity for singers, both experienced and amateur, to sing in a choir for the day, under the direction of Noémie Leer, a well-established singer, musician and choir director here in Luxembourg. After a few playful vocal and body warm-up exercises, participants will be divided into vocal sections. The event will build up to a final joint performance by all participants. This event is for everyone who loves to sing and wants to take part in a fun shared experience while creating music.

The theme of the 2025 Schluechthaus season is creativity and energy, with a rich line-up of cultural, sports and intergenerational events. These events are part of an extensive pre-works programme to promote and revitalise the Schluechthaus by testing out the ideas garnered during the civic outreach process on the future of the site.
