On 31 December, the relatives of those living at the Konviktsgaart retirement home (Résidence Grande-Duchesse Joséphine Charlotte) thanked the carers. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, they have shown unwavering dedication to their work by bravely looking after the residents around the clock.

To mark the occasion, a Superman cape, thank-you cards and other gifts for the staff were presented to the director of the Konviktsgaart, Marcello Loguercio, and Dominique Lieb, a City representative. These tokens of appreciation will then be given to the carers, those responsible for the day-to-day running of the residence and all other members of the team.

Mayor Lydie Polfer and Maurice Bauer, Alderman for social affairs, were also in attendance, and they too thanked the staff for all their hard work.
