The playground in the Bambësch forest (Rue de Bridel, L-1264 Luxembourg) will be closed from Monday, 19 September 2022 to May 2023 for major improvement and redevelopment works.
With an area covering over 10,000 m2, the new playground will be made up of a number of different zones, with equipment intended to offer play opportunities for all ages as well as promote exchange and interaction through play. The City's officials felt it important to establish a direct link with the city's history by incorporating various local elements and themes into the design of this new playground, such as Dräi Eechelen, Bockfiels, Schlassbréck, Huelen Zant, Dräi Tiermercher and Uelzecht.
The City aims to create a place where the children of today and tomorrow can create cherished memories, just as the old playground has been for so many generations.
