Changes to the bus network

Changes to the city's bus network came into effect on Sunday, 13 December 2020. More information


The current line 8 (Strassen – city centre – Kirchberg – Eich) will be replaced by the new line 30. Buses will depart from Limpertsberg, call at "Badanstalt" in the city centre, and then travel along Côte d'Eich to Eich and Kirchberg before terminating at "Réimerwee" near the shopping centre.

A new line 32 will depart from "Parc de l'Europe", travel via Dommeldange train station, Place François-Joseph Dargent and Côte d'Eich to the city centre ("Badanstalt"), and then cross the Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte before calling at stops in Kirchberg.

Line 12 from "Parc de l'Europe" will be replaced by the new line 4. Buses will call at stops along Rue des Sources, and then travel via the city centre and "Gare Centrale" towards Cessange.

Buses on line 21 will follow the usual route between "Eich, Centre Culturel" and the city centre ("Hamilius") via Mühlenbach and Rollingergrund, and then continue along the route of the old line 1 to "Kirchberg, Luxexpo" via "Fondation Pescatore".

Line 23 will terminate at "Eich, Centre Culturel". Stops between "Eich, Eecher Plaz" and "Beggen, Henri Dunant" will be served by the new line 3.

The routes of lines 25 and 26 as well as links to the city centre via lines 10 and 11 will remain unchanged.

  • 4: "Theater", "Hamilius"
  • 10: "Hamilius"
  • 11 and 21: "Hamilius", "Stäreplaz / Étoile"
  • 23 and 26: "Pfaffenthal, Halte CFL" (via the funicular)
  • 25: "Luxexpo"
  • 30: "Faïencerie / INL"
  • 32: "Rout Bréck-Pafendall"
