Changes to the bus network

Changes to the city's bus network came into effect on Sunday, 13 December 2020. More information

Lines 3 and 30 between Bonnevoie and the city centre will remain the same, but will be renumbered as 3 and 5.

Buses on line 3 will depart from "Howald, Waassertuerm" or "Howald, CIPA", while those on line 5 will depart from the new terminus: "P+R Stade de Luxembourg". After calling at stops in the city centre ("Hamilius" for line 3 and "Monterey" for line 5), buses will travel to "Beggen, Henri Dunant" (line 3) or "Bertrange, Gemeng” (line 5).

Stops on current lines 5 and 6 between "Demy Schlechter" and the city cente will be served by the new line 2. Buses will call at "Hamilius" and then travel to "Limpertsberg, Lycée Michel Lucius".

The new line 28 will depart from "Hesperange, Cité Um Schlass", call at stops along Route de Thionville, pass through the Gare district ("Gare Centrale", "Wallis" and "Gare Rocade"), and then travel via Cloche d'Or before terminating at "Howald, P+R Lux-Sud".

Stops in Bonnevoie that are currently served by line 15 will instead be served by the new line 9. After calling at "Hamilius" in the city centre, buses will travel to Clausen and Neudorf before terminating at "Cents, Waassertuerm".

Line 3 will be extended to call at "Howald, CIPA". Line 7, which terminates at "Robert Baden-Powell" and has been calling at stops in the "Steekaul" area of Bonnevoie since July 2020, will remain unchanged.

The route of lines 29 will remain the same, but buses will call at "Gare Centrale" instead of "Gare Rocade".

The service on line 27 between Luxembourg Central Station and "Bonnevoie, L. T. de Bonnevoie" will be discontinued.
